Makuta

Makuta is a composition that blends Afro-Cuban and Congolese rhythms with modern synthesis techniques and field recordings from Chile and England. The work explores the perception of time through evolving textures and rhythmic patterns. By merging traditional rhythms with electronic elements and environmental sounds, the piece proposes a unique auditory experience. It was composed and produced at the Arts and Technology Lab at Universidad Austral in Chile, highlighting a fusion of cultural traditions and contemporary sound innovation.
