Todor Kableshkov is a prominent Bulgarian revolutionary who had a main role in the April Uprising in 1876. Born on January 13, 1851 in Koprivshtitza, he dedicated his life to the Liberation of Bulgaria. At the age of 25, after he got caught and tortured weeks after the April Uprising – he shot himself and that way he finally set himself free. Freedom, that even the enslavers couldn’t take away from him.
Kableshkov is named "the brightest son of Koprivshtiza" and this website is created by one of his successors – Petia Koleva. Heroes deserve to be remembered, honored and this is a way for this to happen in the digital era.
