Another film was created for Hellbrunn Palace, telling the success story of Markus Sittikus: his youth in Rome, the formative impressions of Italian art and architecture, and ultimately his path to becoming Archbishop of Salzburg. Only the change of power following the fall of Wolf Dietrich paved the way for him to realize his dream of building Hellbrunn Palace.
The film transports viewers to the original locations: Hellbrunn, the DomQuartier, and the streets of historic Salzburg. New characters and a familiar companion add another exciting layer to the cinematic universe.
In terms of content and technology, this film represents the most ambitious production in the series to date: more elaborate, more profound, and even more visually impressive. As with its predecessors, the film tells its story entirely without words – carried by a specially composed, expressive score that artfully combines images and emotions.
This creates a captivating experience for visitors to Hellbrunn: emotional, entertaining, and unique in its style.
Implementation
Both we and the client were committed to further refining the already established style without straying too far from it. Particular attention and passion were devoted to details such as animation and character design.
Thanks to a proven workflow and the groundwork laid during previous productions, this film allowed for more resources to be invested in storytelling and subtle visual details — a benefit made possible by the long-standing partnership with the client.
Besides classical keyframe 3d Animation, we also used the help of AI to capture some more complex animations to meet the desired quality and timeline.
