Presenting the projects of ArtSchenceTech Lab – 2026

Presenting the projects (2026)

ABOUT THE LAB

ArtScienceTech Lab is a creative laboratory for interactive digital art that brings together art, science, and technology through experimentation, hands-on work, and the creation of original projects. The laboratory provides access to specialized equipment, mentoring, and an environment for exchanging ideas and developing technical and creative skills. Participants develop interactive works using technologies such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, programmable robots, 3D scanning, digital projection, VR, electronics, and more. The laboratory is developed by the Student Computer Art Society (SCAS) at the Center for the Development of Computer Technologies and Arts at the National Student House in Sofia, which has a 30-year history in the field of computer art.

ABOUT THIS YEAR EDITION

This year’s edition of ArtScienceTech Lab brings together 15 projects developed by 29 participants, divided into three groups and supported by 8 mentors with expertise in technology, programming, and art. As part of the laboratory, participants chose to experiment with electronics, robotics, artificial intelligence, MIDI technologies, games, 3D modeling, and interactive visual and sound systems, transforming their ideas into working prototypes and works of art. The projects will be further developed with the support of the mentors and presented to the public as part of the 38th edition of the International Computer Art Forum “Computer Space”, taking place in October 2026.
